Where elsePema Chodron is an American Buddhist nun with a down-to-earth style of communication. I find her books and talks both inspiring and supportive. When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times is the book I started with but there are many other excellent ones to choose from. The approach is simple, profound and thoroughly practical.
John Kabat-Zinn has done pioneering work in the USA on using mindfulness meditation to manage pain, stress and other challenges. His books are excellent and highly accessible. I really like Wherever You Go, There You Are - Mindfulness Meditation for Everyday Life.
Spectrum Therapy is where I did most of my training. Spectrum is a long-established centre for Humanistic Psychology. Find out what they have to offer at www.spectrumtherapy.co.uk
Stanley Keleman is the psychotherapist whose work underpins my formative or somatic work. If you are interested in learning more go to www.centerpress.com/publications.html
